Undergraduate Course:
Culture and Health
(Scheduled Fall 2026)
This course examines major themes and questions in the cultural approach to health. The course is organized into one introduction and two body sections. Section I observes how culture shapes the meaning, discourse, and interpretation of health issues. Section II extends this perspective by examining how culture is entangled with health across epistemological, ontological, institutional, and historical levels.
